Welcome to the home
of Mme de Sévigné

One of France’s listed Artistic and Historic Heritage towns, Vitré has kept its exceptional architectural heritage intact. Many 15th and the 16th century buildings are evidence of the Vitré’s importance in that period, when it was one of the most powerful towns in Brittany.
You can make the most of all the leisure activities available in the gentle rolling countryside and savour the delicious food on offer in the welcoming atmosphere of our restaurants and crêperies.
As soon as spring arrives, the programme of entertainment and events for 2006 will begin. So let’s begin the festivities !
